Last day
I'm almost sad it's the last day of Juneathon. Unfortunately I didn't get to run this morning as my little boy is poorly do I just did a quick march on the treadmill. Thanks for the incentive to exercise Juneathon.

So near ... and yet so far
Today has been no actual exercise but just housework and shopping. So near to the end of the month and there have been only a few days in June where I haven't actually exercised.

Trusty exercise bike
Avoiding impact exercise again (swollen ankle) I've spent 20 minutes on the trusty old exercise bike. Do you like my view?

6 minute workout
Another morning where I've struggled time wise. As I'm also working a 12 hour day and determined to exercise I tried this workout I found on Pinterest.
Not today
What can I say. I have no excuses. It's been a crappy day. Ankle hurts so I'd planned to do an upper body workout but meetings etc derailed my plans. I will do my upmost to fit some exercise in tomorrow.

Achey
Today is the second day after my longest run for 9 months and my legs ache. What started out as I'm just going for a walk, ended up being interspersed with jogs :)
I've also noticed a couple of lumps down the outside of my leg :(
I'm now running a bath with my favourite post exercise ingredient - Neal's Yard Seaweed and Arnica bath and I will follow with some Neal's Yard Organic Arnica balm.

Hills, walls and flying
Out running before 7am. The weather was gorgeous and I was hoping to run 3 miles. Thanks to the podcast by 5k101 Running Mate I managed my 3 x 12 minute intervals. Whilst I was running I noticed there were periods where I hit walls. It took some mental conversations to just jog to the next obstacle. However even though there are plenty of hills on my route, there were periods where the running felt easy (almost like flying) and where I felt I could continue running for miles.
Can you tell I really enjoyed my run this morning? How was your run today?

On my feet
My husband describes my day job as an "office wallor" (ie desk job). Today however I've been doing my fabulous weekend job and my legs are throbbing. I've checked my Fitbit flex and I've surpassed my 10,000 steps so I'm going bed early with the kids. Hopefully I'll get my legs back tomorrow and go for a run.

It was tough this morning
It's one of those days where I feel rough, I ache and even putting my run kit on is an effort. You have those days too don't you? Therefore I'm delighted I got out the front door. I convinced myself a walk would help me feel better. Adding a few run intervals wasn't too bad either so although I took my morning route, it's slower than usual.
Does Housework count?
Crazy busy day today so no chance to run this morning (dusted the house instead). When I get home later I'll vacuum the house ready for our guests later. I hope my Fitbit Flex notices the extra legwork.

First day back at work syndrome
So I can't sleep at night and can't get out of bed this morning. A brisk 20 minute ride on the exercise bike.
Did you guess correct?
We've had a lovely break at Haven Seashore at Great Yarmouth. We've been swimming again this morning and travelling home now. I'm delighted that even though we've had a short family break I've managed to continue with Juneathon.
Guess where I am
Been for a breezy jog. We are going out for Sunday dinner so have I earnt pudding? Have you been out today? Anywhere pleasant?
Can you tell from the photo below where we are?

Juneathon but swimming
With a busy day ahead and only limited free time with my boys they opted to swim. So swim we did.

There are worse ways to start a morning
A short but sweet 2 mile jog in the gorgeous sun. I'm nearly half way through Juneathon :) I hate to admit it but I'm enjoying the accountability (even if no-one is reading my blog).

None Juneathon
Twice today I've put my exercise clothes on and twice I've failed to do any exercise :(
This morning I ran out of time. Over tired children and 'Heated Discussions' equals late for work and school. Feeling guilty at work I did 15 squats every time I went toilet!! This evening, I've done the ironing (needed clothes for work tomorrow) and find my hips are aching and I am shattered from the weekend of Scout camp. I'm raising the white flag of surrender for today and I will do better tomorrow.

Day 8 Juneathon
Again not running but certainly fitness based; packing up Scout camp & carrying tents and equipment uphill to the car park. Grateful to come home to a shower ;)

Ribena berry running
A lovely warm and sunny morning for a run. However my face looks like a Ribena berry :) Have a great day. I've got a busy weekend so not sure what exercise I'll get to squeeze on.

What have I let myself in for?
This is all Julie's fault. I run occasionally (less than I should) and I'm Plus sized. I bumped into Julie (aka Fattymustrun) a while back and was delighted to find someone actually promoting plus sized runners. Although I'm mega busy with work at the moment, I needed an incentive to up my exercise hence signing up for Juneathon.
I didn't register until 7pm this evening but we (family) did go out for a lovely, sunny walk for over an hour this morning. Great start to Juneathon.
I certainly won't be running every day but I intend to do some form of exercise for at least 10 minutes every day of June. Are you going to join me?
